Client Area vs. cPanel/Plesk; where do I go?

Client Area

THE CLIENT AREA - The Client Area is for the most part INFORMATIONAL

The Client area is where you manage your client account with us, and allows you to manage & view your invoices, your hosting account information, make payments, and open support tickets. In order to login to your client area, you'll need the following information:

  1. Email address you used to create your account
  2. Password
This is where you update your contact information, credit card information, and any additional contact information.
  1. Click here to login to your client area
  2. Enter your email address and password

Your dashboard is useful to view the following information:

  • View your Account Information
  • Open Support Tickets
  • View Due Invoices
  • View Latest Announcement
  • Your Available Credit Balance

cPanel/Plesk/Control Panel

THE CONTROL PANEL - The Hosting Control Panel is FUNCTIONAL. This area deals with everything that controls with your web site.

The Control Panel is where you set up your email accounts, read your webmail, turn on spam-assassin, and create a forward, auto responders, and MX records. 

You can do the following from within your Control Panel:

  • Edit, backup, change and upload files
  • Edit pages and control FTP, and create additional FTP accounts.
  • View your Web site Stats, visitor logs, error logs, and create custom error pages.

For hosting accounts, you use Plesk to administer your site. Here, you will be able to:

  • manage site security
  • create parked domains, sub-domains and URL redirects
  • set up databases
