This article explains how to log in to your Plesk control panel and enable the free AutoSSL (Let's Encrypt) certificate for your domain.
Logging In to Plesk
- Open your web browser and go to: https://yourserveraddress:8443
- Enter your Plesk username and password (these were sent in your welcome email).
- Click Log in to access your account.
Enabling AutoSSL (Let's Encrypt)
- Once logged in, go to Websites & Domains from the left menu.
- Select the domain you want to secure.
- Click SSL/TLS Certificates.
- Choose Install a free basic certificate provided by Let's Encrypt.
- Tick the boxes to include the
wwwsubdomain and/ormail.domain.comif needed. - Click Get it free.
What Happens Next
- Plesk will automatically issue and install the SSL certificate.
- Certificates are renewed automatically before expiry, so your domain stays secure.
