The NGINX cache helps speed up your website by storing copies of pages and static content so they can be served faster to visitors. However, when you make changes to your website—like editing content, updating themes, or changing plugins—you may need to clear the cache to see those updates immediately.
Step 1 – Log In to Your WP Squared Dashboard
Sign in to your Client Area and open the WP Squared hosting service you wish to manage. From the service overview page, click the “Open WP Squared Dashboard” button to access your website management panel.
Step 2 – Select Your Website
Once inside WP Squared, locate your website in the list of installations. Click Manage beside the domain name you want to clear the cache for.
Step 3 – Clear the Cache
On the top right of the screen click the Clear NGINX Cache. WP Squared will immediately remove all cached copies of your website’s pages and files from the NGINX cache. This ensures that all visitors will see the latest version of your content.
Step 4 – Verify the Changes
After clearing the cache, reload your website in a private/incognito browser window. You should now see your updated content. If changes still don’t appear, also clear your local browser cache.
Optional – Automatic Cache Clearing
If you frequently update your site, you can enable Automatic Cache Purge so WP Squared automatically clears the cache whenever you update plugins, themes, or posts. Look for this toggle in the same Cache Settings area.
✅ Tips
- Clearing cache too often can slightly reduce performance; only purge when necessary.
- If using additional caching plugins (like LiteSpeed or WP Rocket), clear those caches too.
- Wait 30–60 seconds after clearing before testing to allow cache regeneration.
