Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your WP Squared account by requiring both your password and a temporary verification code when you log in. This helps protect your account even if your password is ever compromised.

Step 1 – Log In to Your WP Squared Dashboard

Sign in to your WP Squared account from the Client Area or directly at https://wpsquared.io.

Step 2 – Open the Your Account Menu

Once you are logged in, click your profile icon (or your name) in the top-right corner of the dashboard. From the dropdown menu, select Your Account.

Step 3 – Go to Security Settings

Inside the Your Account section, open the Security tab. Here you’ll see an option labeled Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Step 4 – Enable 2FA

Click the Enable 2FA button. A QR code will appear on screen.

Open your preferred authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator) on your mobile device and scan the QR code.

Your app will generate a 6-digit verification code. Enter this code into the WP Squared verification field and click Verify and Enable.

Step 5 – Save Your Backup Codes

Once 2FA is enabled, you’ll be shown several backup codes. These can be used to access your account if you lose your mobile device. Download or securely store these codes in a safe location — you won’t be able to view them again later.

Step 6 – Confirm Setup

You’ll see a confirmation message that 2FA is active on your account. The next time you log in, WP Squared will prompt you for your one-time 6-digit code after entering your password.

✅ Tips

  • If you change phones, disable 2FA first, then re-enable it on your new device.
  • Keep at least one backup code stored offline.
  • 2FA can also be disabled from the same Security tab if required.
