If your website is not loading securely (https://) or shows a security warning, follow this guide to fix it.
What is HTTPS?
HTTPS means your website is secured with an SSL certificate. This protects your visitors and is required by modern browsers.
Step 1: Check If SSL Is Installed
- Log into your AdminBolt Client Panel
- Go to your website or domain settings
- Look for SSL or Security settings

Step 2: Make Sure Your Domain Is Pointing Correctly
Your domain must point to your hosting server before SSL can work.
- Check your domain’s DNS settings
- Ensure the A record is correct
Step 3: Wait for SSL to Activate
- SSL certificates can take a few minutes to issue
- Sometimes up to 1 hour depending on DNS
Step 4: Force HTTPS
Once SSL is active, you may need to force your website to use HTTPS.
- Enable HTTPS redirect in your hosting panel (if available)
- Or update your website settings (e.g. WordPress URL)
