This guide explains how to add a domain name to your hosting account so it can display your website.
What Does Adding a Domain Do?
Adding a domain connects your domain name (e.g. yourdomain.com) to your hosting account so visitors can access your website.
Before You Start
- You must already own the domain
- Your domain should be pointing to your hosting (nameservers or A record)
Step 1: Log into AdminBolt
Access your AdminBolt Client Panel using your login details.
Step 2: Navigate to Domains
- Go to your hosting or website section
- Click on Domains or Domain Management

Step 3: Add Your Domain
- Click Add Domain
- Enter your domain name (e.g. yourdomain.com)
- Select the website or directory it should point to
- Click Save

Step 4: Wait for DNS to Update
If your domain was not already pointing to your hosting, it may take some time to start working.
- DNS changes can take up to 24 hours
- Often works much sooner
Common Issues
Domain Not Loading
- Check your DNS settings
- Ensure domain is pointing to the correct server
Wrong Website Showing
- Check the domain is assigned to the correct directory
Important Notes
- You can add multiple domains depending on your hosting plan
- Each domain can point to a different site or folder
