This guide explains what nameservers are and how to update them for your domain.
What Are Nameservers?
Nameservers tell your domain where your website and email are hosted.
When you update nameservers, you are telling the internet which server should handle your domain.
Example
Your hosting provider may give you nameservers like:
- ns1.yourhost.com
- ns2.yourhost.com
When Do You Need to Change Nameservers?
