How to Edit DNS Records in AdminBolt

This guide explains how to update your domain’s DNS records.

What is DNS?

DNS controls where your domain points, including your website and email.

Step 1: Log into AdminBolt

Access your AdminBolt Client Panel.

Step 2: Open DNS Settings

  1. Go to Domains
  2. Select your domain
  3. Open DNS Records

Step 3: Edit or Add a Record

To Add a Record

  1. Click Add Record
  2. Select record type (A, MX, CNAME, TXT)
  3. Enter required details
  4. Save changes

To Edit a Record

  1. Locate the record
  2. Click Edit
  3. Update values
  4. Save changes

Common DNS Records

  • A Record: Points domain to server IP
  • MX Record: Controls email delivery
  • CNAME: Alias for another domain
  • TXT: Used for verification and email security

Important Notes

  • Changes can take up to 24 hours to update
  • Incorrect changes may break your website or email
